We have just bought ab tutor control which was working great during the trial, and still is on most machines, but not my own one. From my machine I need to be able to view any classroom so I can monitor what the students are doing, so I started setting up lots of groups. But when trying to add to some of those groups, sometimes, but not always, it would do something apart from adding to groups.
For example, when I try to add a machine to the Library group it will open or close the status window, and before I removed all the groups and started from scratch it was opening the menu customisation menu with a different group (always the same function called with the same group).
I have tried removing all the groups and starting with either empty groups and adding to them, and creating groups from a list of machines and adding the extra few to them. Sometimes it adds OK, but when I start it another time it will not add them. It seems to be more with this group called Library though (although that may be as with the other groups I can normally catch almost all of them on when making a group). |

OK, I've narrowed it down a bit. I added another group yesterday, which is now forth in the list of groups (before, the library group was the forth in the list). Now when I try to add to the new group it does the show/hide status window option, and the library group (which is now the fifth group) changes the view mode to showing small icons.
I am guessing its a bug which assigns an ID to the menu item for groups past a third "add to x group" which is the same set of IDs used by items in other menus. |
