Hi Andy,
I downloaded the latest msi by following all the normal links provided in the email. Turns out it gave me 4.4 - so I have that on all my machines now.
Trouble is, it no longer seems to send the correct Ctrl-Alt-Del messages to our PCs when trying to log on using the logon button OR when trying to take control of a PC and send Ctrl-Alt-Del.
(EDIT) I've tested a little more and this logon issue only occurs on a machine which also has ABTutor Control in addition to the client installed. So it allows logons and Ctrl-Alt-Del for machines which are simply clients but not for the tutor control machines.
any ideas?
thanks,
Kristan

Sorry about this problem, it was caused when we added a feature to prevent the user pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del to break-out of the 'Lockout' command.
We have had to roll back this change to solve this problem and we will figure out something else in the next release.
We've updated the original MSI file to include the 4.4.1 client program.
However, to perform the update of your current client installations to this version, I suggest you re-download the main Tutor Control program MSI:
De-install/re-install the Tutor program on your main Tutor machine. This will put the updated ABClient.exe (4.4.1) file into the Tutor folder on your machine ready to be pushed out to the clients.
Once you have re-installed:
- launch AB Tutor Control and connect to all the client you want to update
- Select 'Tools' - 'Client Maintenance' and select 'Check for Older Client programs'
- Now, press and hold the Ctrl key and press OK (This will ignore the version check and force an update)
- Follow the normal client update procedure

Thank you for this post, that is our exact issue also.
However, I think I misunderstood your directions. I went to the download page and filled out the form and got an email with the download link. I un-installed and re-installed but when it reinstalled it still said 4.4.0. (I did not try to force the reinstall yet because I thought it would already say 4.4.1)
What did I miss? Thank you.
