The lockout screen is a really good idea, and it scares the kids into getting on with their work.
What would be really good is if you could have more than one lockout screen, i.e. you could chose which screen that you wanted to display. At the moment we have a default 'you have been misbehaving, get on with your work' etc message thats great, except when you want to lock the computer for technical reasons, or to do a lesson introduction.
Also is there anyway that we can change the icons for different polcies?? |

Hi
Ok, I see what you are after. How about a simple 'History' of previous messages to pick from, similar to the 'Previous Messages' under the 'Send Message' command?
What sort of icons are you thinking of? Maybe we can show different icons for different policies and settings? We prefer to build these into the software so as not to complicate the program/interface by adding a icon picker feature.

As regards to lockout messages your solution is great.
As for policy icons, we currently have policies that block: -
Internet
Outlook
Windows Games
Windows Media Player
Whilst the Internet policy already has a separate icon, the other three all share the same icon, this makes it difficult to see which polices are applied at a glance. Ideally we would like either the Outlook icon or an envelope for email with a red line through it. Similar icons for Games and Media Player would be helpful. |
