|
|
Sorry if this is elsewhere, I do a quick search of the forum and "question" and "polling" didn't return any results!
In the next version of Tutor Control could the question polling be improved to have the option for radio buttons as well as ticks for multiple answers. As part of AfL the ability to get a single response from a list of options and see what percentages came up be very beneficial - it would help teachers to further gauge how well students have understood something. For example in ICT "Would you define a mouse as an... input, output, processor" etc. where students choose one of the those options only.

| This is already there. You have 2 types of question: Single choice and Multiple Choice (see the Type: drop down list under the question text) |

Sorry, but you haven't quite read what I was asking about correctly. The type: drop down list gives me single or multiple choice. I don't want the ability to select multiple answers, I want the ability to select ONE answer from a list of multiple options (like radio buttons do). It is this that I don't think I can do currently.
Hope that's clear enough. Thanks for your reply. |

Sorry - having just written this I have just twigged how this question polling drop-down works - by 'single choice' you are being asked to provide a single choice from a multiple list of options and by using 'multiple choice' you are being asked to select multiple choices from a list of options.
My sincere apologies for not getting this before - the functionality wasn't automatically clear to me. This does not need to be an improvement in future releases any more - yet making the functionality clearer to users may help.
Thank you kindly for your help and prompting. |
