I'm not sure if this falls under the heading "Novel", but it has been helpful in my class.

My computer is the only one with Internet Access (via WiFi wireless). The student computers are not Internet accessible, which does prevent a lot of problems! However, if i need to show them something on the Internet, with AB Tutor, it isn't a problem! I merely browse the internet on my computer and "Show" the screen to my students through the "Give Demo" feature.
