Hi All
We've had a request for a Timed Shutdown feature so that you can schedule all running client machines to shutdown after a set time of the day.
I can see this being useful for update maintenance or just to make sure all machine are power off over night.
What do you think, would this be a useful addition to the product?
Andy

Hi, just wondering if this feature is anywhere being complete?
If not is it possible to do this from Active Directory? |

Hi Andy,
Yes this would be useful. You might also consider a countdown timer to appear on each students screen telling them to log off in, say 1 minute. This could be activated by the tutor before the end of a class period, ensuring that all students log off in time. |

| A possibly useful feature would be for an event (eg logoff/shutdown) to happen, during certain periods of the day, if the computer has been idle for x amount of time. For instance, if computer has been idle for 30 minutes (during 18:00-06:00), then shutdown. |
