Running version 3.10
Has anyone else come across this problem:
We connect to clients, watch them and lock them out, then suddenly the connection is lost and we can't get it back.
This is not a fault on our network, but it is a deliberate act by the user.
There is a combination of keys they are pressing that is somehow killing the client on the machine.
Because we are watching their screen at the time we know they aren't doing anything else - plus security is locked down on the desktops.
Another issue is that when you lockout control, the user can press either ALT-F4 or CTRL-ALT-DEL to get control back.
Anyone any idea what combination of keys the users could be pressing to cause the problem - and is there any way around it?
We have already been in touch with AB Consulting and they don't seem to know how they are doing it either, so any help much appreciated.

Further research seems to indicate that the users are pressing a combination of keys that somehow stops the abclient.exe process - if i log in with a user that has rights to open task manager and then manually end the abclient.exe process it kicks the connection off in exactly the same way.
I wonder if there is some sort of undocumented shortcut in the abclient app that causes it to exit - or is it something undocumented in windows xp???

| I tried both combinations of Alt + F4 & the Three finger salute, but did not have the same results. My students are gaining control, or assume that they are, by simply pressing the Windows start button on the keyboard. The Start menu and Taskbar appear on the screen overlying the locked screen. |
