We're evaluating ABTutor for use in 3 classroom labs. All of the student computers log into XP with a static User account. (not an administrator account). Instructor computers have an Administrator account.
We're encountering a problem when we try to launch Firefox on the student computers using ABTutor. We don't receive any errors, but Firefox never appears. However if we log into the student computer as an Administrator, Firefox launches correctly.
Has anyone seen this type of problem? This doesn't occur with any other software - Internet Explorer, Opera, Microsoft Office, etc.

Well, if anyone cares, here's what we found.
Acting on a tip that my director received via email from ABConsulting, we tried launching (and closing) Excel, and then trying Firefox. This worked. The Excel launch created a new partial profile at c:\application data. The registry entries for Application Data were redirected to this folder at the root of C, instead of the profile in documents and settings.
I changed the registry entries back to the original value, rebooted, deleted c:\application data, and firefox now works.
I tried enabling and disabling the guest account, but it didn't make any difference. Our static user account has no password. All firewall changes were made per the user guide. Not sure what caused this.

Thanks, we've now found a solution to this and it will be in version 4.1 due for release very shortly.
Thanks again for your support.
