Version 3.9 is mainly another bug fix update. If you feel that these fixes/minor additions below do not affect you, then it's not necessary to update from version older version 3's
Fixed a bug with Policies. If you try to 'Block All Applications except...' then even the applications in the Except list would also get blocked.
WARNING: We recommend you use the 'Block All Applications' option with care as it could block some standard hidden Windows services as well!
Fixed a small quirk with Client Icons displayed on top of a classroom image. When you clicked on one icon the others looked like they were still highlighted. This is a known Microsoft bug with Icons on top of images, but we've implemented a work around.
Disappearing cursor bug has been fixed. This bug occurred on Windows XP machines after you performed a 'Show' command and then try to 'Watch' a remote machine.
A new option has been added to the 'Tools' - 'Configuration' - 'General' tab to bypass a proxy server when the program tries to check for updates.
The clipboard (Cut/Copy/Paste) command now copies all characters not just standard ASCII characters.
Ok, just updated to 3.9. I now have an issue with one of my users (keep in mind I am using this wonderful program for my business rather than a school) when I connect to this one user to view what the user is doing since updating to 3.9 the users desktop goes from ocean scene to black, the screen briefly shakes, and her start tool bar which is normally two lines tall drops to one line. This is a problem in that it irratates the user as well as tips tips the user off that he/she is being monitored. Any idea what the issue could be?
