I am using AB Tutor Control on a wireless network with one master and eight clients all running Windows XP Pro.
Trying to add a client with Vista Home Premium ends in a successfull connection with AB Tutor Control reporting 'connected' but even though I cannot control the Vista client in any way: no watch, no show, no anything else (firewall is disabled).
When trying to watch the Vista client I just see a blank and black screen.
When trying to chat with the Vista client the client shows a Windows warning on its screen telling that a program tries to communicate wiuth the desktop which can not be done due to incompatibilities with Vista (in the Windwos services the AB client service has though this option ticked to do exactly that).
What I also noted was that AB Tutor Control shows the icons of running programms on the Vista client directly after connecting, but these icons disappear right after they were shown.
Am I probably doing a misconfiguration of the Vista client or is this behaviour a known issue of the AB Tutor client programm with Vista?
The current 'Client' version 4.5 is not supported under Windows Vista. The Tutor control program will function fine but not the client program. We are currently developing the Vista version at the moment and hope to release it in a few months.
